01. WHAT IS SKIB?

It’s a portal where you can rent quality skiing equipment. It’s network is based on the collaboration of the numerous stores which are placed at the most wanted ski stations.

02. WHY RENT ONLINE?

Renting online allows you to comfortably choose the most suitable equipment to your needs, from wherever you are: home, office, around. The rental is done in a few steps and there won’t be any queues at the store where you have to pick up the equipment..

03. HOW TO RENT?

Write the destination and length of your rental. Choose the store and order online. Once you’ve completed the payment you can pick up the equipment directly at the slopes. Would you like to have further details? Please check our tutorial, by clicking here.

04. DOES THE FIRST RENTAL DAY CORRESPOND TO THE DAY I PICK UP MY EQUIPMENT?

No! At SKIB, if you set as the first rental day e.g. Monday 1st January, you can pick up your equipment starting from 5.00pm of the previous day, e.g. Sunday 31st December. The payment will be related to the rental period, which starts from the day you’ve written on SKIB, NOT from the previous day in case of an early pick up

05. DOES THE LAST RENTAL DAY CORRESPOND TO THE RESTITUTION DAY OF THE EQUIPMENT?

No! At SKIB you can hand the equipment back within nn:nn of the following day from what you’ve written at last rental day. The payment will be related to the rental period, until the last rental day, NOT until the following day in case of a late restitution.

06. WHEN RENTING SKIS OR SNOWBOARD, ARE THE SKI BOOTS AND SKI POLES INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE?

When you rent the skis, the ski poles are included in the rental! In case you’d like to rent the ski boots as well, then you should check and select them in the equipment page (the same thing applies to snowboards as well)!

07. IS IT POSSIBLE TO RENT ONLY THE SKI BOOTS OR POLES?

No! Choosing a package at SKIB means renting all the equipment that are part of that package. To rental additional material or less equipment, you need to go to the store and rent what you need in the traditional way.

08. I CHOSE THE WRONG SIZE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Once you’re in the shop you can ask the shop assistant. Size changing is free of charge.

09. I CHOSE THE WRONG PACKAGE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If you’ve already completed the payment, than please get in touch with our costumer service at the following address: info@skib.com. Our staff will take care of your request within a few hours.

If you’ve already completed to payment, once you’re at the store, tell the problem to the shop assistant. Based on the package you actually need, you’ll be asked for an additional payment or will receive a coupon of reimbursement.
