The ski area in Alpe di Pampeago is part of the Latemar Ski Centre, which stretches all the way from Predazzo
and Obereggen up to 1870m up the Alps with 48km of downhill trails. It is one of the best-known ski carousels in the Dolomites, renowned for its panoramic views, its slopes and snowfall. On the Pala di Santa-Plateau track, the ‘Speedway’ system has been set up. This track is equipped with an automatic speed detector, which can then be checked on the board at the end of the race. The Agnello track is particularly exciting; a black 2600m long trail at 420m altitude. At the end of the nineties, the Tesero was chosen as a stage finish during the Giro d’Italia. The Dolomite peaks of Latemar have been declared by UNESCO to be ‘National Heritage of Humanity’. RespirArt, the highest art park in the world, is also worth a visit.
