Sellaronda: Walking in the Dolomites

A circle on the Dolomites, among snowy landscapes, woods and pure fun. This is Sellaronda, one single ski tour.

A tour around Gruppo del Sella, among the valleys of Fassa, Livinallongo, Badia and Gardena, part of the Dolomiti Superski area, this is the Sellaronda.
Also known as "the tour of the four paths" as it touches the Sella path with its 2240 meters between Val di Fassa and Val Gardena, Pordoi Path, 2,239 m, which joins Val di Fassa and Val di Livinallongo del Col di Lana, the Campolongo path, 1875 m, which connects Val di Livinallongo del Col di Lana in Val Badia and finally the Gardena Path, 2121 meters.
A truly picturesque path, among unique landscapes, shelters and eating places, which make it accessible for the athletes of every level.
This tour can be done without taking your skis off, thanks to the connections and lifts, but also running, by bike or motorbike.

The two senses

The peculiarity of Sellaronda is that it can be done in two directions: clockwise and counterclockwise.
On the first, the so-called Orange route, you can go up about 13 kilometers with the ski lifts and 23 kilometers of slopes.
The counterclockwise tour, the Green Sellaronda, includes nearly 39 kilometers, of which 23 of tracks and almost 16 of ascents.
Don’t miss the famous descent through the woods of Val Gardena, starting from the charming Dantercëpies.

The Sellaronda Ski Marathon is a must for fans of ski mountaineering. 42 kilometers and 2700 vertical meters to go at night, created in 1995.
Even cyclists have something to play in these trails that have made the history of Tour of Italy and thanks to the Marathon of the Dolomites which starts from here on the first Sunday of July.
