Known tourist location in the upper Val Rendena, in the province of Trento with just over 3 thousand inhabitants, part of the Adamello - Brenta Nature Park.
Born on the grassy plain between the Brenta and Adamello Groups: in 2011 a next generation cable car was built that connects the ski slopes of Pinzolo to those of the nearby Madonna di Campiglio and Folgarida - Marilleva, thus creating the largest complex largest ski resort of Trentino, with 150 kilometres of slopes. It's also one of the largest ski areas in the Alps. The new chairlift is almost 5 kilometres long and features four stations making an altitude difference of over 1000 metres.
The most famous slope of Pinzolo is La Dolomitica, with two variations: Star and Tour. All the tracks start at 2100 metres and finish at about 800 metres.
In summer Pinzolo becomes a destination for open-air summer sports: minigolf, mountain bike trails, swimming pools, volleyball, tennis courts etc.
