Skiing with children: where to go

Going to the mountains with the kids is a unique experience, but where can you go so that the holiday is a memorable one for everyone?

Introducing your children to the magical world of snow, means introducing them to a range of complete sports, in touch with the unspoiled nature, while learning the sense of limits and danger but also that of freedom.Satisfying everyone’s needs can become very complicated. What should we keep in mind when we take our children on the snow? Some resorts also boast the "families welcomed" slogan, which identifies places particularly designed for children, including entertainment and animation. When choosing the ideal location for skiing with the whole family, you must take into account three important factors:-first, the cost should not be too high-the good sun exposure so that the children won’t suffer the cold weather, and-the presence of some easy slopes, possibly quite close to the more difficult ones, to avoid long waits between the descent of children, perhaps with the teacher, and that of the parents.

Where to ski with children: the tracks

Among the most suitable slopes to accommodate kids, we’d mention Le Deux Alpes, which has been awarded with the Family Plus brand. There are activities designed for different age groups, ski schools and dedicated events, as well as playgrounds on the snow and 61 easy slopes. In Switzerland, among the ideal places for children there is definitely Lenzerheide, a fairytale landscape in the canton of Grisons. There are plenty of activities for kids, challenges in luge, construction of an igloo. Moreover, to experiment your skis, there are 110 kilometers of easy slopes, some dedicated exclusively to children, and several school camps. In Italy, the Breuil-Cervinia ski area is among the most popular ones. Historical schools, playgrounds, treadmill and snow tubing for great fun and enjoyment.
